What is a Low Back Wellness Retreat?

Living4Health Low Back Wellness Retreats are unique getaways for the low back client and applicable for the general health enthusiast as well. Located in NJ, each retreat offers education, networking, and action. L4H wellness retreats are designed to teach you new ideas for general health and wellness with unique combinations of healthy activities, nutrition classes, and so much more!

  • Or are you just a health enthusiast looking for new ideas for total health…

Core Strengthening

You will learn how to properly perform basic core exercises for added strength, flexibility, mobility, and injury prevention that you can apply after the retreat and incorporate into your daily living. This will be further enhanced with a Pilates session by a certified instructor. You will walk away with: greater ability and understanding to independently strengthen your core from the inside out and know both the “how” and “why.”

Relaxation

Learn new forms of relaxation for stress reduction, improving sleep, feeling rejuvenated, increasing energy through a Sound Bath class with a certified instructor. Sound bathing is the practice of mindfully listening to different sounds that help relax both the body and mind. You will walk away with: a sense of calm to your whole being that will also help promote a good night’s rest.

Nutrition

Learn new methods for eating healthy while staying within budget and timeliness through an on-hands cooking lesson. You will walk away with:

  • New healthy recipes

  • Tips for making healthy food taste its best!

  • Greater understanding of healthy nutritional value

  • Weekly meal prep ideas

  • Methods for eating healthy while staying within budget

As an option, enjoy the best meal of the day before the retreat with Shakeology for breakfast. This is an amazing way to start your active day!

Metabolic Measurement

Your resting metabolic rate is measured using a Microlife BodyGem Calorimeter to help optimize long term weight loss results. Yes! You can learn what your actual metabolism is!


FAQ

What fitness level is the retreat ideal for? All fitness levels are welcome as activities are tailored for each participant. Please ensure you let us know of any injuries, ailments, or areas of discomfort during the registration process. Sheryl will contact you directly to review.

What should I wear? Dress for comfort, as appropriate for a Pilates and Sound Bath class. Feel free to bring a change of clothes if desired for the cooking course, and note this is not required.

What should I bring with me? All participants should bring a workout mat and a water bottle.

What is the cancellation policy? 50% refund offered for cancellations prior to the registration deadline.

How do I sign up? Fill out the registration form under the Resources section. Payment is accepted via Venmo to Sheryl Teitelbaum Oeftering and is due immediately.
