What is Low Back School

30 Days to a Stronger Back !

Low Back School is a 30-day program consisting of six sessions with supervised educational conditioning for (medically cleared) clients with chronic low back pain. This program teaches practical information about neutral spine, posture, and anatomy, along with emphasis on safe and effective exercises. The goal is to improve function by providing education and tools for self-care.

  • Develop a safe and effective fitness program to be performed independently

  • Emphasize neutral spine in all activities of daily living

  • Reduce episodes of low back pain

  • Increase overall function

  • Improve understanding of the spine and conditions that affect it

  • How to safely improve overall function through fitness for the long-haul

Other Course Offerings

Women’s Fitness 101 — empowering health and wellness, this class provides women with an understanding of the basic fitness components including concepts around strength, cardiovascular and flexibility training. We will cover setting measurable fitness goals and generate a customized program for you!

Diabetes / Hypertension — 30 days to a healthier you, this class provides a full understanding of your condition to help manage these conditions through exercise. Progress report provided to your doctor (as appropriate).

Total Joint / Arthritis — this class provides an understanding of the pathology and precautions of your condition and how this can be improved through exercise. Independent home exercise programs provided.
